Personal Background
Born and raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Al Hippsley is the father of two boys, a respected community leader and an avid sports fan. In addition to coaching hockey, Al was the Vice President of the Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association, past owner of the Bellingham Ice Hawks and is a loyal supporter of the B.C. Lions and Vancouver Canucks. In addition to sports, Al also enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, scuba diving and salmon fishing. A Natural Leader Prior to real estate, Al ran his own successful moving business, but as successful as it had become, it never really gave him the challenge and personal fulfillment he craved. So in 1989, Al made the switch to real estate, a move he has never regretted.
To no one's surprise, Al became a top-producing agent. His keen business sense, attention to detail and his easy-going demeanour made him an overnight hit with buyers and sellers. After just two short years, Al became co-broker-owner of Colonial Pacific Realty and over time, catapulted the company to a commanding position in the marketplace. Known today as RE/MAX Colonial Pacific Realty, the franchise now enjoys the number one spots in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board for market share and total dollar sales volume. In March 1999, Al became sole owner of the operation.
